Cyber Security Funding from Enterprise Ireland
If you’re an Enterprise Ireland client, or eligible to become one, I have some great news for you!
Enterprise Ireland has just announced grant assistance to help businesses strengthen their cyber security defences.
What’s the benefit?
You receive an independent review of your company’s cyber security and a clear roadmap for improvement.
The best bit?
The review costs €3,000 but Enterprise Ireland will cover 80% of the fee.
That means you get €3,000 of valuable advice for just €600.
And the better best bit?
Businesses that get funded through this scheme may then apply for a follow-up ‘Remediation Grant’ worth up to €48,000.
Will it be truly independent?
This isn’t just another upsell disguised as an IT audit. The T&C’s state:
- The assessor must be independent (e.g. Your current IT provider can’t do it).
- They need to be suitably qualified—like a CISM (yep, like me!).
What’s the deadline?
Grants are limited and approved on a first come, first served basis.
