I continue to have a love/hate relationship with Microsoft Teams.
- The user-interface is a mess,
- Its multiple options to share files and screens are more confusing than a shady website’s cookie popup, and
- The lottery of whether your camera or microphone will continue to work in the middle of a Teams call is.. exciting.
But putting all that minor usability stuff aside..
Let’s talk about its growing ability to enable users to send confidential data somewhere we didn’t expect.
I’d like to introduce you to Microsoft Teams Apps.

It might take you a while though..
Because there are currently over 2,000 apps on there today.
What’s my point?
Unless you change the default settings of your Microsoft 365 environment, your staff are free to use any of these apps in their Teams meetings.
What could possible go wrong?
